On Christmas afternoon, we spent some time putting together our gingerbread house. The girls had lots of fun putting on the candies, that’s probably because most of the candies ended up in their mouths!

This year, since Christmas was on a Sunday, our church decided to have Christmas Eve services so that we could all spend time with friends and family on Christmas morning. Christmas morning, the girls got to open up all their Christmas presents from loving friends and family. This was Elise’s first year of fully appreciating what it means to open Christmas presents. I think she had more fun opening the presents than actually playing with the toys.
