We were able to have our Christmas Social with our small group before everyone started traveling for the holidays. We started off with dinner at the Ing’s. Then followed by a white elephant gift exchange, where everyone had fun guessing the gifts and trying not to get stuck with the Rocket Lunchbox (oh wait, that was [...] One of Juliette’s classmate’s family invited us to their community snow day in Woodbridge (can you believe that, there’s snow in Irvine!) They bring in enough of the real white stuff to cover a park hill and they have organizers to keep things orderly and safe. Juliette loved it. You’ll have to ask [...] Emmanuel’s parents got Elise this big Dora stuffed doll, which she carried around all day. When we put her to bed, Elise wanted to have Dora sleep with her in the crib. So here they are all cuddled together. [...] We invited our men’s / women’s group over for some hot pot. For most of them, it was their first experience, and they really got into it. As always, there was tons of food leftover, so we had hot pot for a couple days after too. After dinner, we had a good time [...] |
