Our small group participated in the Beach Cleanup which Newsong organized together with the Surfrider Foundation. The girls at first were a little hesitant to pickup the trash but quickly got into the spirit of cleaning the beach as Jen from Newsong spent time to encourage and teach them about the need for us to be good stewards of God’s creation. Afterwards, we tailgated in our minivan and enjoyed some Lee’s sandwiches for lunch. [slideshow]
