Hualien has another night entertainment area called “Hello Hualien”. We went on a weeknight, and unfortunately, it is a lot more active on weekends. At least the girls got to play some games. [slideshow] Since Hualien is the home of the mochi and also where you can get some of the best bonita products, we did the touristy thing and visited a couple of factories. The kids had fun going through the different showrooms and playing with the kid-friendly exhibits and activities. And we got some deliciously fresh mochis and [...] After breakfast, we took the kids to the Hualien Ocean Park which is next to the resort. The kids enjoyed the shows, rides and aquarium, but not the HEAT.
