This trip to Santa Barbara, we discovered the Harbor House Inn which is on the beach-side of town and had a reasonably priced suite (but without a door in between the bedroom and living room). The girls made a tent out of sheets to play in. After packing up, we took some pictures out front, before heading out for our final day. [slideshow]
We spent most of the day at Alameda Park and the garden next to it. The girls had lots of fun chasing butterflies and discovering the pond with lots of red-eared slider turtles! We enjoyed our picnic lunch and the girls tired themselves out running around the huge playground. [slideshow]

Instead of heading back home and getting caught in traffic, we decided to stay in town until after dinner. We walked a bit around State Street and then watched Horton Hears a Who. We were all pretty wiped by the time we got through dinner, so we all crashed on the ride home while mommy stayed awake and drove us home safely. [slideshow]
