We headed for a late lunch over to one of the nicer residential streets in Taichung, finally settling on a Shanghai Restaurant. The kids were a little tired from playing at the mall, but still plenty goofy. [slideshow] After breakfast, we headed over to the Tiger City Mall in Taichung where the kids rode the carnival train and had a blast playing games in the arcade. [slideshow] We stayed the night at Rebecca’s brother Jamin’s place in Taichung. The girls had fun playing with their cousins and we enjoyed some delicious home-brewed coffee (can’t get that in the hotel). [slideshow] After lunch, we drove out to Jiji to see its historic train station. We took the short train ride up a couple stations and walked around the area eating some snacks and tasting the local plum wine. [slideshow] |
