Over the weekend, we went down to Taichung to visit Rebecca’s brother’s family. On arriving Saturday morning, we joined their small group’s outreach Christmas party. They had a special guest Laura along with her mini-pony share a Christmas story and give the kids rides in the pony wagon. Juliette also made a new friend with Laura’s daughter [...] Rebecca’s sister Clare took them to Carrefour to look around. If you’re not familiar with Carrefour [wikipedia], then you need to get out of the US more. It is essentially the Target for Asia and [...] This was our first time being in Taiwan over Christmas in some time. We realized that Taiwan does not have the day off for Christmas. So we did as the locals do and went to the Danshui night market. Once Jeremiah found out, he ditched his Christmas caroling group and hung out with us [...] We started off our Taiwan trip with a serving of jetlag which got us up at 5am.
