After church, we met up with Elijah’s family at Tea Station for some lunch. We ran into a friend who recently had been in Taiwan for vacation (see if you can guess who by his sandals). Before the food arrived, the kids were showing off the Pop Rocks in their mouths. Later in the afternoon, we took Toby with us for some biking + geocaching. [slideshow]
For 4th of July, we headed over to Emmanuel’s parents house for a bit of swimming and lots of BBQ with family and friends. We also got to see a bunch of different firework shows from the top floor decks. [slideshow]
The Changs came over for some biking around our neighborhood. Originally, we were going to introduce them to geocaching, but unfortunately, the website was down. So we just showed them some of the caches in the area. [slideshow]
The girls had their small group friend Alyssa come over for a playdate. Emmanuel joined later to give the girls some swimming pointers. And since the girls were having so much fun together, we had Alyssa stay for a sleepover. The big surprise was in the morning when we found out that it was actually Alyssa’s birthday! [slideshow] |
