We started off our Northern California vacation with a 6-hour drive up the I-5. We randomly ran into some old friends at one rest stop. Had a bit of car-sickness at another. Overall, we survived the road trip up (with the help of some self-installed vehicle tech upgrades).

We would like to wish all our friends and family a blessed New Year. Looking forward to more great memories in 2010 (I know this is late, but it’s been that kind of holiday season)
We continued our Christmas with a family brunch at Emmanuel’s parents house. We had rice porridge, onion pancakes, chocolate waffles, fruits and lots of dessert. Afterwards, we opened more presents, played games, watched movies and ate some more. [slideshow]
Once everyone was awake, we started off Christmas morning with opening presents. This year, the girls made and wrapped gifts for each other. Next year, we’ll heave to get them to do it for their parents. Thanks to all the friends and family for the wonderful gifts. [slideshow]
