Rebecca has been expanding her cake baking and decorating skills and made these great looking AND great tasting cupcakes for her friend Young’s birthday. [slideshow] On Juliette’s actual birthday, we went out to celebrate with Emmanuel’s family at Shik Do Rak. We all stuffed ourselves with lots of Korean BBQ and afterwards enjoyed a delicious mocha birthday cake. [slideshow] For Juliette’s 9 year-old birthday party, Rebecca put together a cook-off competition for all the kids. The kids had lots of fun measuring, tasting, cutting, and baking. Even with the minor interruption of rain forcing us to move indoors. [slideshow, videos] For Juliette’s 9 year-old birthday, we took the girls to see The Merlin Magic Show at the Rib Trader in Orange. The girls had a good time watching and participating in the show. And Elise discovered that she really likes cornbread. [slideshow, videos] |
