Izakaya at Sashi-Miya

For dinner, we tried out another new restaurant for us called Sashi-Miya. It reminded us of our favorite restaurant Honda-Ya which is also Izakaya-style. Granted the decor and presentation is more modern, but it was still good eats. The girls were happy to get their fill of soba, and I think next time, we’ll pass on the mountain yam skewers.

Afterwards, while walking to the Zhongxiao-Fuxing MRT, the girls found a park to play on. [slideshow]

More Mister Donut

After the photo studio, we headed over to RT-Mart, which is like Taiwan’s version of Target, to pickup some snacks to take home. And of course, with the girls latest craze for Mister Donut, we found one nearby for an afternoon snack. [slideshow]

At Photo Studio

We took our family portraits the day before, and had to go back to choose which pictures we wanted. The girls were especially excited to return so that they could play with the big bear stuffed animals and other toys that the studio had for kids. [slideshow]

Katsu at Anzu

We tried a couple new restaurants in our final days in Taipei. The first one is Anzu where we got some really tasty pork tonkatsu. They even have you grind fresh toasted sesame to go with the delicious katsu sauce. [slideshow]
