We would like to wish all our friends and family a blessed New Year. Looking forward to more great memories in 2010 (I know this is late, but it’s been that kind of holiday season)

We continued our Christmas with a family brunch at Emmanuel’s parents house. We had rice porridge, onion pancakes, chocolate waffles, fruits and lots of dessert. We continued our Christmas with a family brunch at Emmanuel’s parents house. We had rice porridge, onion pancakes, chocolate waffles, fruits and lots of dessert. Afterwards, we opened more presents, played games, watched movies and ate some more. [slideshow]

Once everyone was awake, we started off Christmas morning with opening presents. This year, the girls made and wrapped gifts for each other. • fresh herb salad in bacon cups
• roasted potatoes
• mushroom and pancetta omelette
• prosciutto wrapped prime rib-eye steaks

Emmanuel helped the girls build this year’s gingerbread house. It was more challenging this time without some of the usual props included.
