We continued our family tradition of having Christmas Eve Dinner at home. Emmanuel’s cousin Moses joined us for a delicious meal prepared by Emmanuel. The menu included: fresh herb salad in bacon cups Afterwards, the girls opened some presents, and we all played play-doh . [slideshow] Emmanuel helped the girls build this year’s gingerbread house. It was more challenging this time without some of the usual props included. But in the end, the house was standing and decorated beautifully. [slideshow] Our small group had its Christmas gift exchange for the kids. It was a festive and goofy night with even Santa making an appearance. [slideshow] Rebecca and the girls made Christmas cookies to give out to friends and family. Well, mostly Rebecca baked the cookies and the girls “taste-tested” the inventory. [slideshow] |
