After a delicious brunch at Park Avenue Cafe, we hung out by the ferry dock in Balboa. [slideshow] Rebecca and the girls met up with their friends and spent the afternoon at Mission Viejo Lake. They had a lot of fun playing in the sand and riding the paddle-boats. [slideshow] We took the girls to the Getty Villa for their first time. They enjoyed all the different art exhibits and activities. For lunch, we packed a picnic lunch and used the convenient group picnic area. Also, we were able to find a quiet spot where we renewed our vows with the girls as our witnesses. [...] For our second and more successful camping trip of the season, we went to San Gorgonio in the San Bernardino mountains. It was a little hot, but not unbearable. The kids had a lot of fun running around the campsite. On Saturday, we tried to go to Forest Falls but it was closed due to bear [...] |
