Today was the day we got to go snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. After a quick orientation (“don’t step on the coral”) video, we got right into the crystal clear water to swim with the fishes.

Today was the day we got to go snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. After a quick orientation (“don’t step on the coral”) video, we got right into the crystal clear water to swim with the fishes.

After a few hours, the sun started really beating down on us, so we washed up and headed over to Kona Brewing Co. for a late lunch. Afterwards, Gene took the kids for a sleepover at their house.

In the evening, we went over to the Changs at the Westin to help watch the kids and get some crock-pot dinner. We finished off the evening walking around Waikiki, eating a late-night dessert and discovering a Japanese shopping boutique. [slideshow]

We had our first annual cousins camping trip thanks to Elijah and Cindy. We spent three days in San Gorgonio with really nice weather (albeit a little hot during the day). The girls had lots of fun with their cousins and aunties. We came here for the snow and there was plenty of it, even with the weather warming up. The backyard of the cabin had space for snow forts, and with further exploring, the kids found a nice big field for sledding. [slideshow]
