Mission Viejo Lake

Rebecca and the girls met up with their friends and spent the afternoon at Mission Viejo Lake. They had a lot of fun playing in the sand and riding the paddle-boats. [slideshow]

Getty Villa

We took the girls to the Getty Villa for their first time. They enjoyed all the different art exhibits and activities. For lunch, we packed a picnic lunch and used the convenient group picnic area. Also, we were able to find a quiet spot where we renewed our vows with the girls as our witnesses. [slideshow]

Camping at San Gorgonio

For our second and more successful camping trip of the season, we went to San Gorgonio in the San Bernardino mountains. It was a little hot, but not unbearable. The kids had a lot of fun running around the campsite.

On Saturday, we tried to go to Forest Falls but it was closed due to bear activity. So we went to Jenks Lake instead and made a picnic of it. Later, we got to do a little geocaching before dinner.

Since Rebecca’s mom was visiting us from Taiwan, she decided to join us for her first time camping. Aside from losing sight of our campsite a couple of times, she had a pretty good time. All in all, it was a nice and relaxing time with friends and family. [slideshow]
