Before we left for Taiwan, Emmanuel’s parents gave the girls their Christmas presents, which were dolls that they have been waiting for all year. [slideshow]

We got together with our accountability group for our annual Christmas Party. This year we were at the Lee’s, with the kids hiding out and having fun on their own upstairs. Lots of food, drink and laughs were had late into the evening. [slideshow]

Juliette did a great job performing in her piano recital with Grandma Fan, Micah and Toby in attendance. All the participants received certificates for their performance and progress this past year. [slideshow]

We had our annual gift exchange for the kids in our small group. As before, the kids had a blast opening their gifts. And we’ve developed a system to keep some order going from youngest to oldest. [slideshow]

Rebecca and the girls baked Christmas cookies to share with friends and family, which had to be done earlier this year since we would be in Taiwan for the holidays. [slideshow]

Rebecca took the girls to Mariners to meet with Joyce and Ethan, where the kids got to play together in the playground. [slideshow+video]

Juliette’s school held their annual Christmas musical with her grade participating in the chorus. And this time she was standing in front so we could actually see her, which was good since Grandma Fan came to watch! [slideshow]

Juliette got the Lego Y-Wing set together with Rebecca when she got her Lego Tie Fighter. It took a while to get around to it, but Juliette finally finished it, with a little help from daddy and Elise. Juliette even posed and took the pictures all by herself. [slideshow]

We had Stephen and Kelly over for dinner for the first time since they got married. The girls had fun playing the wii with them and goofing around after dinner with Uncle Stephen. [slideshow+videos]

We went to watch Elise’s Christmas program at Red Hill Lutheran School where she performed as one of the sheep. She did a good job with her lines and singing with the rest of her class. Afterwards, we got to visit her classroom where the kids ate cake and did crafts. [slideshow]
