We started off the day with breakfast in the Marina District. Then headed over to the Exploratorium for some geeky, science fun. Next, we walked around the Palace of Fine Arts, and then crossed the street to take some pictures of the bay and of course, the Golden Gate Bridge. We took another food break in [...] Day Three started off at the Ferry Building, with some delicious snacks, including Elise’s new favorite food, salami cones from Boccalone. We then had a mix-up finding our ferry launch to Alcatraz. But thanks to some steady thinking from mommy and a quick trolley ride to the right pier (33, NOT immediately outside Ferry Building), we [...] Our second day started off with dim sum at Ton Kiang (recommended by Chik). We then headed over to the Golden Gate Park to visit the SF Academy of Science (in spite of some GPS shenanigans). There was a bit of a wait to get in, but in the end, we got to see some [...] We continued our family tradition of having Christmas Eve Dinner at home. Emmanuel’s cousin Moses joined us for a delicious meal prepared by Emmanuel. The menu included: fresh herb salad in bacon cups Afterwards, the girls opened some presents, and we all played play-doh .
