Elijah and Cindy invited a bunch of friends over to the park in front of their house for an Easter Picnic. They kids had lots of fun playing games and running around the park. Grilled sausages were the best. And Emmanuel spent all his time flying a kite.[slideshow] Our small group took the kids to a Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt in Newport Beach. They had a lot of activities for the kids to take part in, but the main event was the Easter egg hunt (or more like “egg grab”), where they turned off the field lights with the kids using flashlights to find [...] For Chinese New Year, we went over to Emmanuel’s parents’ for our weekly dinner. And after the kids changed into their pajamas, they got red pockets from the [...] Over the weekend, we went down to Taichung to visit Rebecca’s brother’s family. On arriving Saturday morning, we joined their small group’s outreach Christmas party. They had a special guest Laura along with her mini-pony share a Christmas story and give the kids rides in the pony wagon. Juliette also made a new friend with Laura’s daughter [...] |
