For Elise’s Character Award, she received the character of Peacefulness. Yeah, we were surprised too. If you listen to how her teacher explains it, she says Elise exhibits peace when she is focused on a task. I guess I could see that… for the brief minutes that she is ‘on-task’. [slideshow] Video: Elise’s MCS Character Award [...] For Elise’s Kindergarten class, each student takes turns taking home their class mascot, named ‘The Dude’. They have to take care of it and write about how they spent the day with it. Juliette was more than glad to help and put together a meal for The Dude for him to eat while we had [...] Every year the girls’ school give out character awards for each student in their class. Juliette’s award for third grade is “Industriousness”. This is pretty evident at home too since Juliette is always good at finishing her homework and studying for her tests on her own. Their first game they played really hard but were pressed on defense for most of the game and eventually lost.
