For Elise’s Character Award, she received the character of Peacefulness. Yeah, we were surprised too. If you listen to how her teacher explains it, she says Elise exhibits peace when she is focused on a task. I guess I could see that… for the brief minutes that she is ‘on-task’. [slideshow]

For Elise’s Kindergarten class, each student takes turns taking home their class mascot, named ‘The Dude’. They have to take care of it and write about how they spent the day with it. Juliette was more than glad to help and put together a meal for The Dude for him to eat while we had dinner. This was Juliette’s first year playing in her school’s team in the Daily Pilot Cup. Their first game they played really hard but were pressed on defense for most of the game and eventually lost. [slideshow]

Their second game, they were able to control the ball and tempo better, ending up with a win! [slideshow]
