Our small group usually takes the summer off. And we make up for it with different activities throughout the break. This time, we got together at Crystal Cove Beach for some late afternoon fun and a delicious picnic. The kids also got to check out the nearby tidepools. [slideshow]
The Chiens were a part of our small group when we first joined three years ago and have since moved away. We got to meet up with them along with some of our small group in a mini-reunion. The girls had a great time playing as if they had never been apart. [slideshow] After the Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt, we invited our small group over to celebrate Elise’s birthday with some homemade birthday cupcakes. This was the first in a series of smaller birthday celebrations for Elise turning 5, in place of one big [...] Our small group took the kids to a Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt in Newport Beach. They had a lot of activities for the kids to take part in, but the main event was the Easter egg hunt (or more like “egg grab”), where they turned off the field lights with the kids using flashlights to find [...] |
