After checking out the new church plant in 101, we took the whole family down to the 101 food court for lunch. The younger kids went for McDonald’s (go figure), and the adults and older kids got some high-end Asian food court grub. [slideshow] Continue reading Lunch with Huangs
Rebecca’s sister Clara just got back from the US, so we met up with them at their latest church plant in downtown Taipei. Being in the 101 gives them a great view and as if that wasn’t enough, they even have a baptismal pool. [slideshow]

For dinner, we tried out another new restaurant for us called Sashi-Miya. It reminded us of our favorite restaurant Honda-Ya which is also Izakaya-style. Granted the decor and presentation is more modern, but it was still good eats. The girls were happy to get their fill of soba, and I think next time, we’ll pass on the mountain yam skewers. Afterwards, while walking to the Zhongxiao-Fuxing MRT, the girls found a park to play on. [slideshow] |
